2018 released horror comedy ‘Stree’ was definitely one of the most talked about and loved movies of the year.
The Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi starrer managed to entertain the masses and despite its average budget of 23 crores, ended up becoming one of the top earners with over 180 crores grossed in domestic as well as international box office.
Less than a year after the movie’s release, the makers have now started working on its sequel.
Interestingly, the original cast of the movie, which includes the likes of Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi, will be seen reprising their roles for this follow-up as well.
Presently working on the script for the same, a source close to the making of the film confirmed that it is expected to hit the theaters next year.
Would be interesting to see how the story progresses with the same characters on this sequel.
