Class 10 Student Who Died During Exams, Scores 96, 97 & 100 In 3 Subjects He Appeared For

Vinayak Sreedhar – a class X student from Noida, who appeared for this year’s matriculation exams, but succumbed to his grave illness midway has left an inspiring, heartwarming story behind him.

Sreedhar – suffered from the same muscle degenerating and weakening genetic disorder (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD)), which affected legendary physician – Stephan Hawking.

Despite his illness, Vinayak was determined to score well in his 10th board examinations but soon after submitting his first three exams, he succumbed to the condition and passed away, before he could appear for the remaining dates.

As the results of his three examinations came out, it turned out he scored a neat 100, 96 and 97 in all three of them, still proving that hard work and dedication could encompass all adversities.



Venayak’s mother, Mamta Sreedhar was quoted telling PTI – “His muscular movement was very limited. He could write slowly but since there is a time duration for exams, he used a scribe to write English and Science exam. For Sanskrit, he insisted to write himself. His body movement was restricted and he was wheelchair-bound, but his mind was very sharp and aspirations very high.”

 

“We are today in Rameshwaram and are going for darshan in the evening. It was his unfulfilled wish so we decided to not postpone the plans and do it for him,” she told PTI.
