Shah Rukh Khan was yet again honored with a doctorate for his extensive philanthropic work by The University of Law, London.
Marking his third honorary doctorate in the UK alone, SRK received the honor during a graduation ceremony for more than 300 students of the University this past Thursday.

Donning the University’s graduation hat and robe, the actor yet again managed to win hearts with his humbling acceptance speech.
“I believe that charity should be done in silence and with dignity. One cannot speak about their charitable acts because it loses its purpose. I have been privileged to be able to use my status as a public personality to champion causes close to my heart. I actively participate with the causes of women empowerment, rehabilitation of the underprivileged and basic human rights.”

He further added:
“I firmly believe that I have to give back to the world that has given me so much. I am humbled with this Honorary Doctorate bestowed upon me and would like to thank everyone involved for choosing me.”
Apart from winning countless fans in his 3 decade long career, SRK has also been actively involved in a number of human rights causes. Most recently, he was associated in a cause which deals with bringing about a change in the lives of acid attack survivors in the country.
