A female customer visiting a McDonald’s outlet in California went into labour inside the restaurant premises, leaving her with no option but to deliver the baby right there and then.
Police and paramedics had to be called to help assist the woman delivering the baby in the restaurant’s lobby without any challenges as there was no time to rush her to the hospital.
The McD lobby was soon turned into a delivery room and the woman, with the help of the paramedics, managed to deliver a healthy baby.
The City of Madera Police Department shared the first snap of the newborn on their official Facebook handle, detailing the incident.
“It’s not everyday you get to help deliver a new born baby at McDonalds. Last night, officers responded to McDonalds regarding a woman who was in active labor,” the post read.
“There was no time to transport the mother as the baby was being delivered. The great paramedics delivered a healthy baby boy. The mother and the baby were transported to the hospital and they are both doing well.”
Now this mother will certainly have one hell of a story to tell about how her kid was born, years down the lane.
