A Delhi student came to national attention earlier this month, after a rather shocking footage of him battling it out with an armed robber – became viral on social media.
Karan Chowdhary had stopped by a petrol pump near East Delhi’s Shahdara at around 6:00 in the morning when an unidentified armed man attacked him and ordered him to hand over the keys of his bike, with a gun pointed towards his face.
The footage which was taken during December 30, shows Karan rushing away from the spot to seek help from a handful of people who were around at that time of the day, but noone came forward.
It was then the youngster took matters in his own hands and confronted the robber, managing to snatch the gun from his hands and eventually forcing him to flee from the spot.

While many outlets are praising his act of ‘bravery’ and ‘resilience’, many people are also pointing at how it was a rather questionable attempt to risk it for a bike and things may as well have turned tragic during that altercation.
