Sonali Bendre Returns To India With A Brave Smile On Her Face

After an extended stay abroad to get treatment following her cancer diagnosis, Sonali Bendre finally made a return to her homeland with a big smile on her face.

The reality tv host and actress was diagnosed with a ‘high grade cancer’ earlier in July and had ventured out to New York, along with her family – to seek treatment for the same.

Touching down at the Mumbai airport, Sonali was all smiles as she waved at the cameras and gave a few ‘thumbs up’, holding hands with her hubby, Goldie Behl – who, along with her son, has been a great source of support for her.

Bendre has been quite a source of inspiration, updating her fans and followers about the progress in her treatment and the changes it has brought not only in her personal life but also in her very outlook towards everything around her.

Time to announce the next book! The last one took a while, as my eyesight was doing strange things due to the chemo and I couldn’t read for a while. Was panicking a bit, but now all is well again! Whew! The next book for SBC is set in the city I’m currently in, New York… it’s called A Little Life by @hanyayanagihara. It’s been nominated for so many literary awards and is a story of friendship and ambition. We’ve read books with female friendships before, but this is our first one on friendship among boys… Should be interesting.
