The Guy Who Drove His Parents on a Rickshaw for His College Convocation!

A picture which went pretty viral this past week featured a young student driving his ageing parents on a rickshaw during the day of his college convocation.

Wali Ulah, who graduated in Accountancy & Information Systems at University of Dhaka, shared the heartwarming picture of the unique ride he gave to his parents as they arrived to witness his convocation.

The caption to Wali’s Facebook upload of the picture read: “My mother is the crown of my life, that is why the convocation hat is for her. My father protected me from all harms all through my life, that’s why the convocation gown suits best in my farmer father’s sweat-soaked body.”

Wali’s picture went even more viral when Virender Sehwag shared it on his Twitter handle. Although unfortunately, the cricketer did not know about the true origins of the pic and captioned it with a completely inaccurate narrative, including the wrong name of the guy in question, addressing him as ‘Hisamuddin Khan.’

Nevertheless, it is a heartwarming picture and story as is and what a beautiful way to pay homage to those hands that lifted you up in life.
