Shreya Ghoshal, without doubt, is one of the best voices of this generation. The classically trained, former singing reality-show winner, has emerged as one of the most successful and celebrated female contemporary vocalist of the 21st century.Ghoshal has proved her versatility, in songs ranging from the deeply soulful ‘Sun Raha Hai Na Tu’ to the sultry and seductive, ‘Jaadu Hai Nasha.’
The 33 year old, made her Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2002-released magnum-opus, ‘Devdas’ – in which the, then 16 year old, vocalist sang a total of 5 songs – which eventually won her a Filmfare and a National award.
Shreya went-on to sing for some major soundtracks throughout the early and mid 2000’s – with movies like Munnabhai M.B.B.S., Jism, Dhoom, Parineeta, Vivaah, Woh Lamhe and many more.
