A BJP MP from Gujrat, is said to be in ‘critical condition’ after being vigorously attacked by a stray cow.
Liladhar Vaghela was out on an evening walk when the cow, standing outside his residence, attacked him and broke his ribs. Vaghela is now admitted to Gandhinagar’s Apollo Hospital and his condition is said to be severe, with at least two fractured ribs, among other injuries.
Age also plays a role in the MP’s condition as he’s 83 years old and is having trouble breathing. He has now been kept in ICU and is ‘under observation’ of the medial team there.
The local media outlets report that the incident took place this past Thursday, when Vaghela ventured out of his house for an evening walk. He did try to divert the attention of the cow by using his handkerchief, but it apparently failed to work as he was struck on his chest, leading to severe injuries.
