In case you haven’t been following Rishi Kapoor on Twitter, you wouldn’t know that he is one celebrity who has never really been afraid to speak out his mind, no matter how controversial the subject.
You may not also know, that he happens to be a very protective and assertive father to actor Ranbir Kapoor and often goes out of his way to make sure his career is going in the right direction as it should.
Following the enormous success of ‘Sanju’, Ranbir Kapoor recently spoke on the subject of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s previous work and ended-up revealing how his father once literally begged to get him featured in a Hirani movie, following the release of the filmmaker’s ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai.’
According to Ranbir, Rishi literally fell down at Hirani’s mother’s feet and said, “Your son is a genius, and I hope he works with my son at some point.”
Whether or not it was Rishi’s pursuit that helped Ranbir bag the career-making role of ‘Sanjay Dutt’ in the critically acclaimed biopic, it sure seemed to have worked out for the duo in the end.

Rishi, as always, finds a way to win over things in the end – even if that includes buying an award for himself.
