Praises are pouring over Alia Bhatt’s performance after a soaring critical and commercial response from her latest release – Raazi.
The talented actress, who’s previously wowed viewers with her performances in movies like ‘Highway’ and ‘Udta Punjab’, has garnered immense praise for her latest delivery as a conflicted Indian-spy, in the Meghna Gulzar-directed period-thriller and drama.
The movie has already crossed 100 crore mark at the box office – making it one of those rare films, which are primarily led by female protagonists, to do so.
Joining the many voices of praise that are coming at Alia’s direction, a visibly bowled-over Kangana Ranaut also showered praise over the actress, calling her ‘the undisputed queen’ – a title that has been often used for Ranaut, following her barrier-breaking critical and commercial successes.
Stepping out of a multiplex after having watched the movie, Kangana had the following to say about the flick:

“I really liked Raazi. It was awesome. Meghna (Gulzar) did a splendid job with the film. I have no words to express the performance of Alia (Bhatt) in the film. She is so good in the film. Meghna and Alia invited me to the trial of their film but I couldn’t attend it because I was busy shooting for my film, then I promised them that I will watch the film soon. I am going to send Alia a congratulatory message for her film. I think Alia is most definitely the undisputed queen. Its Alia’s world and we are just living in it.”
On her own professional forefront – Kangana is geared-up for a much-anticipated release of ‘Manikarnika’ – which as she confirms, should hit the big-screen later this year.
Nothing like one talented, bright female artist uninhibitedly praising and appreciating another one.
More power to Kangana and Alia.
