Actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s untimely death has been nothing short of a saddening shock, not only to the industry or his fans – but also just about anyone who’s come across the news.
It is because of the nature of his passing, and how sudden and abrupt it has been, coming unannounced at such a young age – making us all weary about how undetermined life is.
Puneeth Rajkumar died of a heart attack at only 46 on 29 October 2021. Saddened by his untimely demise, fans in large – numbers have been paying their last respects to the celebrated star of Kannada cinema, who popularly appeared in films like – Appu, Power, James and Yuvarathna, to name a few.
Grieving fans of the star also showed-up in large numbers at Bengaluru’s Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Friday, to remember him with great fondness.

Thousands of fans could be seen joining their hands, lining up to get a glimpse of him one last time and for saying a prayer for him – days before his last rites will be performed, as soon as his daughter arrives from the United States.

The actor will be given a funeral with state honours, in acknowledgement of not only his work in cinema but also his many social charitable deeds.
