Kangana Ranaut’s pipeline is as full with new projects, as her personal life is with non-stop controversies.
The actress and social commentator, who’s been the most talked about celebrity throughout 2020 and already has a number of big-budget projects in the pre-production and filming stage, has now announced a sequel to her 2019-released epic – Manikarnika, which was based on the heroic queen of Jhansi who fought against the British invaders.
However, this is not to be confused as a continuing story of Rani Laxmibai.
Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda, will now tell the story of a lesser known heroic queen from Kashmir, named – Didda, who was a ruler of the state from from 980 CE to 1003 CE.
Kangana took to her Twitter handle to make the big announcement:
“Our India has been a witness to the story of many bravehearts like Rani of Jhansi. Another such untold heroic story is that of a queen of Kashmir, who defeated Mahmud Ghaznavi not once but twice. @KamalJain_TheKJ and me are bringing together – #ManikarnikaReturns: The Legend of Didda”
ले कर आ रहे हैं @KamalJain_TheKJ और मैं, #ManikarnikaReturns: The Legend of Didda 🙏 pic.twitter.com/sgrqkqilj6
