The much-awaited and anticipated trailer of Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’ has finally been released and it has managed to exceed all our expectations.
The movie – which is loosely inspired by the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, sees Padukone in the lead role and deals with the hard-hitting subject in a gritty manner.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar and co-produced by Deepika herself, the powerful first trailer of the flick showcases Laxmi’s fight towards justice after being the victim of an acid attack.
The movie which also stars Vikrant Massey in an important role, has already set social media abuzz.
