Last year, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was embroiled in a controversy when he was barred from performing at a local Ramleela after Shiv Sena protested against it due to him being a Muslim.
The actor expressed his disappointment on Twitter, stating how his childhood dream to participate in the annual play at his village in Budhana could not become a reality – insisting that he will try again next year.
My childhood dream could not come true, but will definitely be a part of Ramleela next year.

Well, before the season of this year’s Ramleela arrives again, the critically acclaimed actor took the opportunity to dress up his adorable son, Yaani Siddiqui, as Lord Krishna for an annual celebration of Janamashtami at his school.
Sharing the pic of his son on Twitter, the overwhelmed actor wrote, “I am glad to the school of my kid . Who gave him an opportunity to play the character of ” natkhat nandlala”.”

Nawazuddin’s posts received massive love and adoration on Twitter, as people praised him for indirectly sending the message of unity, in today’s tensed religious settings.
Let us hope the phenomenal actor now gets to make his dream come true by starring in the local Ramleela.
More power to you Mr. Siddiqui.
