The singing duo also appeared for a special musical recording at BBC Pebble Mill, back in the late 70’s, where they immortalized folk-inspired love-duet – ‘Kothe Te Aa’, also often regarded as ‘Punjabi Tappe.’
Nearly 4 decades later, giving their own modern twist to this soulful, romantic ‘jugalbandi’ – a newlywed couple in Mumbai has gone viral singing the popular classic after reciting their vows.
Performing for their guests with an accompanying guitar, the duo can be heard attempting to recreate the magic behind the mush-filled tune, as their friends and relatives cheer for them.
