The whole nation is coming together to mourn the passing of our soldiers after the Pulwama attack and our Bollywood and cricket celebrities aren’t far behind in that regard.
While many have expressed their outrage over the abhorrent act of terrorism while also passing condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones, a number of well-abled folks have also pledged to extend financial aid.
Kicking off that initiative, Amitabh Bachchan has donated 5 Lakhs to each of the families of the martyred soldiers.

Reaffirming the donations, here is what Sr. Bachchan’s spokesperson told IANS:
“Yes, Mr Bachchan will be giving Rs 5 lakh to each of the martyr’s families and is currently finding out the correct process to do so.”
Former cricketing ace Virendder Sehwag has also pledged his support to the families, by offering to take care of the complete education of the martyred soldiers’ children.
“Nothing we can do will be enough, but the least I can do is offer to take complete care of the education of the children of our brave CRPF jawans martyred in #Pulwama in my Sehwag International School @SehwagSchool , Jhajjar. Saubhagya hoga,” Sehwag wrote on his Twitter.
