Aamir Khan has chosen to walk out of an ongoing movie project on grounds of the flick’s director being embroiled into a sexual assault allegation.
The actor has chosen to take a stand, after the ongoing #MeToo discourse has caught fire across nation, and a number of sexual assault victims from the past are slowly outing their former perpetrators.
Subash Kapoor – who was directing Khan in the upcoming Gulshan Kumar biopic, ‘Mogul’ has been accused of molesting a woman back in the year 2014.
Taking departure from the shoot of the flick, Aamir shared the following statement on his Twitter handle yesterday:

Subash, however has asserted that he ‘respects’ Aamir’s stand and will prove his point in the court of law.
A few days ago, Hrithik Roshan had also expressed his concern over being involved in a project with director Vikas Behl, who has been accused by a number of actresses for past instances of sexual assault.
The actor had stated how it would be ‘impossible’ to work with someone accused of sexual harassment cases of such nature.
