The much awaited trailer for Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan starrer, ‘Sui Dhaga’ was finally unveiled on YouTube today.
The Sharat Katariya directed comedy-drama first came to public attention when the intriguing “first-looks” of Anushka and Varun’s characters from the movie were leaked online. Stepping out of their ‘comfy zones’ and the usual portrayals of the rich and fabulous, the duo is now seen carrying their ‘de-glammed’ roles with utter perfection.
In case you couldn’t already tell from the initially unveiled posters, the movie is set against the backdrop of “small-town India” and revolves around a couple’s ambition to stand on their own feet despite all hard-ships.

Sharat, who’s previously won a National Award for his 2015-released flick, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, spoke highly over Varun and Anushka’s on-screen transformation to fit into their respective characters.
“More than getting a fresh ‘jodi’, the excitement was to get the right actors who will complement each other,” he said. “And luckily, both of them agreed to do the film and they have done a remarkable job which everyone will get to see on September 28.”
