Indian award shows have always been the subject of much criticism and ridicule for not only their biased and not-so-well-thought-out choices of winners but also for the way they have been been presented and scripted.
There are on-stage moments that are plain awkward and obnoxious and that take away whatever credit and merit that is left with most of these ceremonies, but then there are also some not-so-planned quarrels, fights and arguments that have left both attendees and the hosts red-faced.
Remember, the completely out-of-line, heated argument between Ashutosh Gowarikar and Sajid Khan from the screen awards – that made the ceremony completely stray away from its direction? For a couple of minutes, the award show totally became about the two of them and everybody had to sit there and watch them argue senselessly.
Then there was also a shocking moment of the ever-so-controversial Salman Khan having a major anger-outburst on musician Mithun, for his retaliation against the way they mocked his music and the singers of his songs.
