Right when positive news about the first-day collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is being reported, Bollywood has another big venture to look forward to.
Sunny Deol’s much anticipated sequel of his mega-hit film ‘Gadar’ is set for release later this year, and the maker have finally unveiled the film’s first look.
A sequel to this film was announced last year, nearly 21 years after the release of the original – which was a huge hit back in the early 2000’s, and the filming has now come to a closure.
The sequel brings back iconic characters of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel back into the story, and the first look poster of the film features Sunny holding a huge hammer in his hand, exemplifying the essence of his fierce and iconic character.

Sharing the look of the film, Sunny Deol repeated the famous dialogue from the original – “Hindustan Zindabaad Haiā¦.Zindabaad Tha.. .aur Zindabaad Rahega!”
With it’s first poster released on Republic Day, the film is now set for a release on 15th August, i.e., independence day of India. A perfect release date for a film like Gadar 2.

Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is directed and produced by Anil Sharma and is reported to be made on a budget of Rs 100 crores.
