Despite high hopes from the film, Ranveer Singh hasn’t got what he had hoped for – out of his recently released venture, Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
Made on a budget of Rs. 60 crores, under the production banner of Yash Raj Films, the movie has tumbled at the box office, collecting merely 4 crores rupees on it’s first Monday.
The first-weekend opening collection of the film stands at around 12 crores – taking it’s total to just 13.70 crores.

The lukewarm reception from critics and audience hasn’t helped the film, and with the ongoing craze for south-Indian cinema, which is continually breaking box-office records – this latest Bollywood venture hasn’t stood the test at all.
It is being assumed that the film will further decline at the box office, making way for next week’s release – Dhaakad, which stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead, coming out on May 20th.
So will Ranaut’s latest action-thriller break the dry-spell in Bollywood?
We’ll wait and see…
