After Manushi Chillar made India proud by bringing home the coveted crown of Miss World last year, India has already presented its latest face for the international pageant this year.
19 year old, Anukreethy Vas – has won the title for ‘Femina Miss India 2018’ in a star-studded ceremony on Tuesday.
To formalize the win of country’s latest representative of beauty, grace and poise – Manushi Chillar herself was given the honor to the place the crown on Anukreethy’s head.
Anukreethy – who hails from Tamil Nadu has completed her schooling from RSK Higher Secondary School and is presently pursuing B.A. in French from Chennai’s Loyola College. Like most beauty pageant winners in India, Vas too aspires to become an actress and is in love with being in front of the camera.

The first runner-up of the competition was Meenakshi Chaudhary who hails from Haryana while the second runner-up was Shreya Rao who is from Andhra Pradesh.
This year’s judges panel included the likes of – Bobby Deol, Malaika Arora, Kunal Kapoor, fashion designer Gaurav Gupta and Irfan Pathan and Manushi Chillar herself.
Anukreethy – who’s currently flying high for her crowning moment in India will now represent the country in the international pageants set to take place in the coming months.
