The recent adaption of Ramayana starring south superstar Prabhas was met with huge criticism, resulting into a commercial crash of the film.
Hence it is quite bold of filmmakers Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar to come up with another film on the same subject, now starring Ranbir Kapoor in the role of lord Rama.
The upcoming mega budget film also stars Sai Pallavi in the role of goddess Sita, and the first leaked stills from the film give a glimpse into what to expect from the project.
But the film is already being thrown into a bunch of controversies, especially one pertaining to Ranbir’s alleged liking of the consumption of beef (something that is strictly forbidden in Hindu religion). So will this personal choice affect the professional undertaking that Ranbir has now taken, especially since so many sentiments are attached to the story of lord Rama?
