Kangana Ranaut has a series of films lined ahead of her for release this year, and the first in-line may be her Tamil-language venture – Chandramukhi 2.
The film serves as a sequel to the 2005-released film which starred Jyothika in the role that Kangana is seen reprising here.
The film is being touted as a ‘standalone sequel’ to the original and has been directed by P. Vasu, who also helmed the original. The new movie stars – Raghava Lawrence, Vadivelu, Srushti Dange, Lakshmi Menon and Kangana, among others.
Taking to her social media, Ranaut shared the first look of her character in a post, originally shared by Lyca Productions – who produced the film.
Chandramukhi 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release in multiple languages on 19 September 2023.
