Gadar 2 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting forthcoming films from Bollywood.
And why not? The first installment which came more than 20 years ago, was one of the biggest hit films of all time, shattering all domestic box-office records of that time.
As the lead pair of the original – Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel have reprised their iconic roles for the much-hyped new sequel of the film, they’re also making sure that every event surrounding the film takes place with much hullaballoo.
Case in point – the movie’s recent trailer launch event.
The actors were seen arriving at the special event held for the trailer launch of the film in their respective character attires, surrounding by several dhol-players and folk dancers. The two posed for the shutterbugs standing in front of a truck, which Sunny Deol’s character famously drove in the original film, and was used here as a prop for the event.
Not only that, Sunny – who’s usually quiete and keeps to himself, was seen shaking a leg along with the rest of the background dancers – who all rocked on the beats of the dhols.
