Aishwarya Rai constantly has to live-up to the expectations that surround her annual Cannes visit. The actress is a regular at the international film festival, if not for her movies, than as the international brand ambassador of the cosmetic brand – L’Oreal.
This time around, the ‘Guru’ star made a mega entry into the fest with her first red-carpet appearance donning a larger-than-life glittery ensemble.
The former beauty queen wore a silver and black gown with a huge bow around her waist, but an even bigger hood covering her head – that took all the attention.
It was her usual ‘Miss India’ walk and smile on the red carpet after that, as she strutted her way in to the venue.

Needless to say, the look got some strong mixed reactions online – from people who didn’t quite approve of the exaggerations of different proportions served by the gown.
Perhaps her next look would be a saving grace?
