‘Kabhi Toh Nazar Milago’ was one of the biggest hit songs of the early 2000’s Indi-Pop era, when the genre was slowly dying out.
Adnan Sami – who was a force in the world of non-filmy Pop music back then, delivery one hit song after another, pulled-in the legendary Asha Bhosle for this duet, that became an instant chart-success.
Years later, the two glorious voices came together to perform the duet live in a singing reality show.
It is different picture two decades after that song was released, as they both advance to an older stage in their lives – and yet delivery a soulful, moving performance.
Adnan, who now holds an Indian citizenship and has moved to the country from Pakistan, is seen showing his excellent skills on the piano, leading the first part of the song – when he is joined mid-way by Ms. Bhosle, as a surprise to the audiences and contestants.
The performance is said to be from 2019 during an episode of the singing talent-hunt show The Voice, in which 87 year old Asha showcases that she can still move audiences to tears, as she joins Adnan, 48 – for the stripped down piano arrangement.
