Watch : Kantara star Rishab Shetty takes blessings of ‘Daiva’ at Bhoota Kola festival, video goes viral

Rishab Shetty gave us a never seen before cinematic experience with Kantara. The movie broke down all the language and regional barriers and became a huge pan India success.

Kantara showed us the beautiful culture of coastal Karnataka. The movie showed the traditional Bhoota Kola festival of the region and how the belief of the people in their ‘Daiva’ keeps them united in all times.



After the unmatched success of the movie in the domestic box office, the mind behind the film, Rishab Shetty went back to his roots to attend the Bhoota Kola festival and to take the blessings from ‘Daiva’.

Rishab Shetty and the founder of the production of Hombale Films took the blessings at the festival somewhere in Karnataka.

The official Instagram handle of Hombale Films and Rishab Shetty shared the video from their visit. The video showed the Kantara team meeting with the people at the festival with folded hands.



They then took the blessing from the Daiva. The video has the popular Varaha Roopram song playing in the background which makes it even more beautiful to watch.

While sharing the video they wrote in the caption, “You surrender to nature and worship God, who has bestowed you with such success and freedom in life. #Kantara team witnessed the divine in real form and took the blessings of Daiva!”

After becoming a sensation in Kannada language, Kantara was released in Hindi on October 14 and then there was no stopping this film. The film has also been shortlisted in the ‘best movie’ category at the Oscars.

Apart from Rishabh Shetty the film also features, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, Achyuth Kumar and Prakash Thuminad in the lead roles.
