Veteran actress Asha Parekhs demands removal of ‘Besharam Rang’ song from the movie Pathaan

But as the release is getting close the controversy surrounding the movie is also getting bigger. Many people on the internet have already started the boycott trend on social media. The movie attracted controversy after the release of its first song ‘Besharan Rang’. People strongly reacted against Deepika Padukone’s revealing clothes in the music video and demanded it to be removed.



Veteran actress Asha Parekh, who was also the cheif of the central board of film certification, has come in support of the movie yet again. In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, she said, “Our industry has never gone through such a bad phase. I’ve been part of it for more than sixty years. I have never seen such a low phase in the history of the industry. Pathaan needs to be released without any hindrance.”

Talking further about removing the controversial portion from the movie she said, “We can’t afford any more flops. I don’t know what the Censor Board says on this. But I am saying, remove the offending portion and ensure that the film gets a smooth release.”



She also said, “Pathaan needs to be released without any hindrance. Yash Raj has suffered a series of blows recently. They can’t afford another one.”

Even after all the controversies the movie is set to hit the theatres on the decided dates. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles.
