Vivek Oberoi has made some shocking revelations about the downs of his career recently, the actor revealed that even after giving blockbuster movies like Company and Shootout At Lokhandwala the work suddenly stopped coming to him for unknown reasons.
During a bold and candid interview with Bollywood Bubble, The Yuva actor spoke about the bad phase of his career and revealed that he faced depression and if it was not for his family and wife’s support things would have been much worse as wanted to end things.
Maybe this is why the actor can relate to another promising actor, Sushant Singh Rajput who left us too soon in unknown and mysterious circumstances. During the interview Vivek said, “This place can be cruel, brutal, trying to crush you. The little prayers they make for me every now and then, that’s what kept it together for me. I just lost it otherwise. I am just constantly so upset with the negativity around me and maybe that was the agenda. The agenda is sometimes to break you mentally. But I think Priyanka had a big role in creating a haven for me now.”

He further said, “Which is why I relate to what happened with Sushant or what happens with other people. I felt that darkness and pain. This place can be pretty cruel. They can be brutal with trying to crush you and when lies are spoken so many times, so loudly and so many times, they become the truth. They force you to start believing that’s the truth about you but in hindsight with a lot of calmness, strength, and inner happiness, you realize that your truth is your truth and no one can take that away from you but you.”
On the work front, Vivek was recently seen in MX Player’s Dharavi Bank which also stars Sunil Shetty in the prominent role. He will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s debut OTT project Indian Police Force that also stars Shilpa Shetty and Sidharth Malhotra in main roles.
