Vicky Kaushal shares the first look sneak peak and a new release date for his much awaited upcoming biopic Sam Bahadur.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the biopic is based on the life of one of India’s greatest Field Marshals Sam Manekshaw popularly known as Sam Bahadur.
The Masaan star took his Instagram account to share the first look clip, although he did not show his face in the teaser but his powerful walk left a huge impression on the audience. Sharing the teaser, he also announced the release date of the movie, he wrote, “365 days to go… #Samबहादुर in cinemas 1.12.2023.”
The film also features Dangal girls, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in prominent roles, Fatima Sana will be playing the role of India’s former Prime Minister, Late Indira Gandhi.
Sam Manekshaw was India’s first Army personnel who got promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. He served for over 4 decades and 5 wars. His leadership played a major role in India’s victory in 1971’s India-Pak war that led to the creation of Bangladesh.
Earlier this year Vicky dropped his look as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw for the biopic and the fans could not help but praise because of his unbelievable transformation as one of India’s most highly decorated Army officers.
Vicky will next be seen in a comedy drama, Govinda Naam Mera, a film that also features Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani and is set to release online on 16th December on Disney plus hotstar.
