Shah Rukh Khan has been in the industry for several years and continues to enjoy an ardent fan following due his mass-appeal and his mass-catering films.
While the actor readies the release of his ‘comeback’ film Pathaan, he has been honored by international magazine Empire – by being listed among the top 50 actors of all time.
The magazine has included him among names like Meryl Streep, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, among several other iconic screen-legends of Hollywood.
Not only that, he is the only Indian actor to be featured on the list, which has highlighted his films like Swades, Devdas and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
It is interesting, because usually when Indians get asked about the best of acting talents they put forth names from small-budget artistic cinema like – Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Irrfan Khan, among others.
However, it cannot be denied that SRK boasts of a legion of fans and he has been represented by some of the biggest production houses of the country as the name and face of Bollywood.
