It was earlier this year when Mahima Chaudhary unveiled her cancer diagnosis to the world, during an Instagram interaction with actor Anupam Kher.
Kher apparently signed her on for a film, while she was still undergoing chemotherapy and he insisted that she needn’t wear a wig to appear for the role and could arrive as she was.
The emotional revelation from the actress garnered her several well wishes from her fans and colleagues.
Recently Mahima was seen at a public event alongside her daughter and she was quizzed about her journey as a cancer survivor and her ongoing treatment for the same. The actress reacted when she was called ‘brave’ for tackling it head-on, by insisting that she wasn’t really brave while facing it.
Mahima was also seen proudly flaunting her wig, that she wore under her hat – proudly flaunting her new look after losing her hair due to the chemo treatment.
“I hope my wig looks good. I have to continually wear a hat. Style. So struggling with things like that.”
