Harnaaz Sandhu ended the 21 year old dry-spell of India in the world of international beauty pageants – specially the Miss Universe competition, when she brought homo the 2021 title.
The 70th Miss Universe pageant was held at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel and our very own Punjabi kudi Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned the top beauty in the competition.
The last time India had brought home the coveted crown was in the year 2000, when Lara Dutta won the same.
Before Lara, it was the ethereal beauty and elegance of Sushmita Sen back in the year 1994, that impressed the judges and made her win the show.
