Tarak Mehta is surely one of the most popular and loved shows on Indian Television. But in recent past some of the prominent cast members of the serial has decided to part ways from it.
One such actor is Shailesh Lodha who plays the pivotal role of Tarak Mehta in the show. After Disha Vakani AKA Daya Ben’s disappearance from the show, Shailesh’s exit has shocked fans the most.
Many reports came up after his exit that the actor cum poet is unhappy with the deal he is being provided with, but recently Shailesh spoke open heartedly in an interview with Siddharth Kannan.
The 52 year old used a popular poetic line to describe the situation better, he said, “Kuch to majbooriyan Rahi hongi, Yun hi koi bewafa Nahi Hota. (There must have been reasons behind it, people are not unfaithful by choice).”
He further said in Hindi that he will speak about his exit from the show at the right time, “Indians are quite emotional. I call myself a sentimental fool. Getting attached is natural when you have done something for 14 years. I am an impatient man. But the show taught me patience. It’s not like I won’t reveal why I left the show. I will say, but only at the right time,”
TMKOC was aired on July 28, 2008 and has been people’s favorite for over 14 years now.
Other main actors Such as Neha Mehta, Disha Vakani and Gurucharan Singh have also left the show.
