Drishyam 2 has exceeded all expectations at the box office.
Released in the wake of a string of Bollywood biggies miserably failing at the box office, Drishyam 2 has managed to revive Hindi film industry’s box office.
According to reports, the film is seeing full-houses even in early morning shows – which is a rarity these days, especially considering the box-office shockers we have seen this particular year.

After a fantastic opening weekend, the film has managed to pass the crucial Monday test, yet again earning in double digits, domestically.
The four day total of the film stands tall at 76 crores, passing the 75 mark mid-week.
The opening weekend collection of the film, stood tall at 64.14 crores.
The cult status achieved by the first installment of the edge-of-the-seat thriller over the years definitely helped in creating a hype for this sequel, even without the need of much promotion from the makers.
This, yet again, goes on to show that audiences simply just crave for great content. No gimmicks needed.
