Adnan Sami is a household name in Indian music industry. The man who rose to fame with his superhit album Tera Chehra in 2002 has also given his voice in number of popular and iconic Bollywood songs.
The singer renounced Pakistani citizenship and became an Indian citizen in 2016. Adnan has recently talked about the reason behind leaving Pakistan and also vowed of revealing the reality of Pakistan when the time is right.
The talented singer took to his social media account and wrote that he has no hard feelings towards the people of Pakistan but has a problem with the establishment.
He wrote on twitter, “Many people ask me why I have such contempt towards Pakistan. The hard truth is that I have absolutely no contempt towards the people of Pakistan who have been good to me. I love everyone who loves me- period. However, I have major issues with the establishment.

He further wrote about the treatment he got in Pakistan and how the reality will shock many,
“Those who truly know me will also know what that establishment did to me for many years which ultimately became one of the big reasons for me to leave Pak. One day, soon, I will expose the reality of how they treated me which not many know, least of all the general public which will shock many! I have remained silent about all this for many years but will choose the right moment to tell all,” he further wrote.
Adnan Sami has also been conferred with the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2020 for his contribution towards the music industry.
