2) Sita – The Incarnation



A retelling of the tale of Ramayana, from the eyes of Goddess Sita. Kangana plays the titular role, and it is being reported that she has charged a whopping Rs 32 crore amount for this film, making her the highest paid actress of the country. The film is to be directed by Alaukik Desai.

3) Tejas

This particular film has already completed it’s shoot and is in post-production stage. The release for the long-anticipated film has been delayed and it is now set to be released in the month of May next year. It will see the actress in the role of an Indian air force pilot, flying the Tejas jets.

4) Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda



Serving as a sequel to her hit film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, Kangana Ranaut’s forthcoming sequel in the series will explore the life of another Indian queen from the past. Didda – who was also known as The Catherine of Kashmir ruled the state more than 1000 years ago. She is one of the lesser known monarchs and historical figures, at least to the masses, and Ranaut will be further exploring her story.

5) Noti Binodini

A project that promises to explore Kangana Ranaut’s talent as an actress further – considering it is being directed by Pradeep Sarkar, who is known to bring out great performances from actresses in the past in films like Parineeta and Mardaani.

Aside from this Kangana also has a yet-to-be-announced film from R Balki. The actress had also previously announced a film on the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid verdit, called ‘Aparajita Ayodhya’, however more is yet to be heard on the same.



Aside from that, as a producer – she also her Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Tiku Weds Sheru lined up for release, which is made under her new production house – Manikarnika films.
