Ramayan Legends: Dipika Chikhlia Touches Arun Govil’s Feet, Recreating Iconic Scene As Goddess Sita And Lord Ram

Dipika Chikhlia and Arun Govil are the OG actors when it comes to those who have played Goddess Sita and Lord Rama over the years.

The duo appeared in Ramanand Sagar’s supremely famous television version of the Ramayana, which aired back in the 80’s and still continues to be revered and respected just as much – especially when it comes to depicting Hindu scriptures and sagas.

Recently the iconic actors made an appearance on the latest season of TV show Jhalak Dikhlaja and people just couldn’t stop escaping that same old aura.

Deepika was also seen touching the feet of Arun, still keeping up with the character of Goddess Sita that she portrayed several decades ago. She event went on to call herself his ‘Daasi’ as people couldn’t help but cheer for the two.

The on-stage act was a reenactment of a scene from the famous show, and the audience was yet again smitten by how flawlessly the two slid into the characters, even after all these years:
