Mandana Karimi Quits Bollywood After #MeToo Accused Director Sajid Khan Joins Bigg Boss

Filmmaker Sajid Khan’s entry into the Bigg Boss house has been a rather controversial one.

The comedian and host has participated in the ongoing season 16 of the popular TV show, and this has made people quickly bring up the topic of his many ‘me too’ related accusations.

Soon after he made his entry into the show, welcomed by the show’s host and old-time friend Salman Khan, internet was left abuzz about his recent controversies.

Sajid was accused of sexual misconduct and misdemeanor by several Bollywood actresses, however none of those accusation ever did take the legal route. The controversies did result into loss of work for Khan, who was ousted from several of his ongoing projects.

As a result, his entry into the Bigg Boss house was called an ‘image cleaning exercise’ by many on internet.

Now actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi – who had also accused Sajid of misconduct, has stated that she has decided to leave Bollywood due to Sajid being given this opportunity.

Speaking to a leading English daily, Mandana said –

“I did not go for any auditions and I do not want to work in Bollywood. I don’t want to be associated with an industry where there is no respect for women.”

Not only that, Mandana has also now made her Instagram account private.
