A family was struck with an unfathomable tragedy earlier this week.

In the midst of all the festive celebrations that are going in the country at the moment, a family was faced with not one but two unforeseen deaths.

It was when a 35 year odd man died during a garba dance and moments later, his father too passed away from the shock of it all.

The tragedy took place in Virar town of Maharashtra’s Palghar district where Manish Narapji Sonigra collapsed while participating in a Garba event at Global City complex.

The man was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

Upon hearing the news from the doctors, Manish’s father Narapji Sonigra (66) also collapsed at the hospital and died on the spot.

Police have registered it as a case of accidental death, while the bodies have also been sent for post-mortem.

This is not an isolated incident, but more such deaths have been reported during the ongoing festivities:

No words can describe the shock and tragedy faced by their loved ones at a time like this.

Thoughts and prayers.
