It was 10 years ago when Sridevi marked her fabulous return to the big-screen, and turned it into yet another form of success.
The celebrated superstar of Indian film screen, made her return to celluloid with an unforgettable role in the film ‘English Vinglish’, that gave the seconds innings of her career a new lease of life, carving a different niche for herself.
The movie was a critical and commercial success, and Sridevi garnered many accolades for her performance, as a mother who is trying to live up to the expectations of her family, who don’t value her as much as they should.
10 years after the release of the film, with Sridevi no longer here to celebrate the moment, the late actress’ husband Boney Kapoor was seen remembering the star, getting emotional during an event.
Boney was seen tearing up while speaking of the beloved star in an event organized by the makers of the film, which was also attended by their younger daughter Khushi Kapoor.

Fans too were seen getting emotional, who remembered Sridevi with great fondness and also celebrated her victorious return to film which happened 10 years ago.
Sridevi died on 24 February 2018 at the age of 54. Her last film on the big screen, while she was still here, was ‘Mom’ and was also a success.
