Ranveer Singh was the recipient of one of the biggest awards of the night at the recently held Filmfare awards.
The ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ actor was awarded the ‘Best Actor’ trophy for his role as legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in the film ’83’.
But out of his whole winning moment, what has gone viral on social media is his acceptance speech – in which he was seen sobbing and crying while accepting the award.
The actor, donning a red-tuxedo and all, was unabashedly emotional as he spoke of how it is still hard for him to believe that he became an actor. His voice broke and all. Traditionally. The whole thing with universal award speeches.

Needless to say, Twitteratis couldn’t hold back from trolling the actor for the video as some called it ‘irritating’ and ‘overacting.’
Someone people also pointed out how it looked like ‘fake crying.’

Yikes!
Looks like all that flamboyance of Ranveer is too much for the internet to handle.
Anyway, congratulations to the actor.
