‘Past Will Haunt You’ Anupam Kher Reacts To Boycott Calls For Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha

After Nation wide calls for boycotting Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, the movie has failed to live up to the hype at the box office. Aamir faced criticism of the fans for several reasons, first of which was for hurting religious sentiments through his movie PK.

Aamir Khan was also a target of netizens of his comment about India, where he reportedly said that he does not feel safe in this country. Now, one of his most anticipated movie made with a whooping budget 180 crores has only managed to collect around 55 crores in India and over 100 crore at the global box office.



Veteran actor Anupam Kher also gave his reaction to the massive boycott trend Aamir’s movie faced.

Talking with India today, the Kashmir files actor said that the past will haunt Aamir, he said, “If you have said something in the past, it will surely haunt you.”

He further talked about the current boycott trend going on in the internet, “If someone one feels that they should start a trend, they are free to do so. There are new trends on Twitter every day,”



Aamir Khan and Anupam Kher have worked in many movies together such as Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi and others.
