India on Sunday registered a fantastic victory over arch rivals Pakistan in the Asia cup first match. India put up a brilliant overall performance and dominated Pakistan in all the departments.
Virat Kohli also played a decent knock of 35 and looked in good touch, Bhuvaneshvar Kumar was the star with the ball taking crucial 4 wickets in his spell and also the all important wicket of skipper Babar Azam.
But the star of the match for India was undoubtedly Hardik Pandya. The Gujarat Titans skipper produced one of his fines performances in T20i both with the bat and the ball. Hardik took 3 wickets in his 4 overs giving away only 25 runs. He also built a vital partnership with Jadeja when India looked to be in deep trouble and took the match away from Pakistan.
Pandya was awarded Man Of The Match for his performance and the ace all-rounder took to social media to announce his magnificent comeback.
But not only in India, there were massive support and admiration for team India from Afghan cricket fans,
One such fan showed his love for the all rounder by kissing him on his television screen after India’s win.
The young fan can be seen running towards the TV screen after the match ended to kiss Pandya on his Television, the video was shared by the women’s rights activist, Yousafzai Anayat.
