Tamannaah Bhatia who has worked in many big movies from south like Bahubali and KGF has made a name for herself in both Bollywood and south Indian film industry.
The glamorous actress attended the Indian film festival of Melbourne awards 2022. At the event Tamnnaah was asked to light up the Lamp on the opening night of the awards for which the actress from south removed her shoes and won hearts of the fans.
Actress Tapsee Pannu and director Anurag Kashyap were also present at the event. After Tapsee lit the lamp, Tamannaah was also asked to do the same but she opted to first remove her heels and then moved forward to light the diya.
Tamannaah’s gesture was applauded by the audience present there and the when another woman on stage appreciated her gesture, Tamannaah replied, “It’s just South Indian tradition.”
For the event Tamannaah wore a gorgeous silky black and green dress with shiny heels. earlier, Tapsee and Anurag were bashed by the netizens for not removing their shoes before lighting up the Lamp.
Many reactions came from the fans after Tamannaah’s clip went viral, one fan said, “This is what South has taught her…” “Wow, small things matter… great gesture by Tamannaah,”. While another fan wrote, “She is showing her culture, the rich heritage of India, bless you Tamannaah,”
Tamannaah will next be seen in an exciting project by director Madhur Bhandharkar – Babli Bouncer. The movie is set to release on next month on Disney Hotstar plus.
