Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad faced a dreadful fate at the box office, which most stars who come with big-budget ventures, fear the most.
The film severally underperformed at the BO, and was subjected to massive trolling online – after it was rejected by the theater-going audience back in May 2022.
But after all the setbacks, the big-budget action thriller may finally have found it’s audience as it has apparently garnered a big numbers on OTT platform.
The film released on ZEE5 and managed to get 60+ million hits within it’s first week itself.
An elated, Ranaut shared the news on her social media, calling it a ‘blockbuster week,’:

Dhaakad which was released in theaters on 20 May 2022, also starred Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in prominent roles.
The film was directed by debutant Razneesh Ghai, and featured Kangana in on one of her most challenging roles yet.
The actress will next be seen in Sarvesh Mewara directed Tejas, which will feature her in the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. She is also busy shooting for the film ‘Emergency’, which will see her in the role of former prime minister of India – Indira Gandhi.
