At the recently held IIFA awards, Sara Ali Khan ended-up addressing Bollywood actor Salman Khan as ‘uncle’ on-stage.
The actress, who’s daughter to Salman’s long-time industry-friend and colleague – Saif Ali Khan, apparently shares a personal familial bond with Salman, and in lie of that – addressed the 56 year old as ‘uncle’ on the stage.
During an interaction in the ceremony, Sara stated that she wanted to do some brand adverts and launches ‘Salman uncle ke sath (with Salman uncle)’ – which immediately got a response from the actor, as he jokingly said:
‘Aapki picture gayi (your picture is gone)’ – leaving the audience in splits.

When a puzzled Sara asked him ‘why?’, Salman responded stating that it’s because she called him ‘uncle’ in front of everyone.
Nevertheless, the two ended up dancing with each other during the ceremony.
