The Kapoor’s are famous for their indulgence in alcoholic beverages, as revealed by their own family members in several interviews through the years.
The most popular family of Bollywood, also has the reputation of having an ardent love for post-8 PM drinks.
One such instance comes to light from the wedding celebrations of none other than – Neetu Kapoor and the late Rishi Kapoor.
The actress recently revealed how during her wedding to the ‘Bobby’ actor, the two got drunk before they arrived to the mandap and also that they fainted before their wedding finished.

However Neetu pointed out that it was because of the huge crowd that attended that humongous extravagant wedding, that took a tool on the two and they fainted at various points during the precessions.
“When we were getting married, I fainted, and my husband also fainted. We both fainted. I fainted because there were too many people, and my husband was petrified of crowds, so before getting on to the horse he fainted.”
She also revealed that she was in fact inebriated during her wedding pheras, as she circled around the holy fire.
“So he was having brandy. I was having brandy. So that’s how our wedding was, I was drunk when I was taking the pheras.”
Neetu made an appearance on Swiggy’s YouTube channel with her JugJugg Jeeyo co-stars, and that is when she revealed these interesting titbits about her unconventional wedding affair.
Rishi Kapoor passed away on 30 April 2020 in Mumbai at the age of 67. The duo tied the knot in the year 1980, and their companionship lasted for 40 years, up until his passing few years ago.
